3, 2, 1... liftoff!

And here we go! Welcome, visitors, to TransCoderLady's blog!

I don't really have much to say about myself other than this: I'm a transfem dork who is still deciding on a name and is starting to get creative with her output! Linux user, homelab amateur and hopefully one day an artist, I am very excited to be able to share my thoughts with the world!

Before we get this show on the road, though, I would like to take the time to establish a few things:

  1. Trans Rights are Human Rights, and the same goes for the rights of all marginalized people. If you don't agree with that, you may not wanna stay here long.
  2. This page is gonna be under constant change as I remember how to use CSS and start learning the true power of Eleventy, so expect change along the road!
  3. I am just an amateur that wants to test herself, so do keep this in mind if I stop uploading for a while! Don't worry if I go down for a while, it might be safe to assume that I'm just somewhere else or changing my builds around.
  4. This blog will get into some deep thoughts down the line (at least possibly). If a post is in need of a trigger warning, I'll make sure to add it in the tags, and at the beginning of the post.
  5. As much as I wanna accomodate for everyone and will strive to do so, I have heard, and consider quite accurate, the argument that no point of view can truly be unbiased due to the existence of a status quo.
  6. Any given point of view is deserving of respect, as long as it does not invalidate or endanger the existence of a group of people based on their way of life.

As this blog evolves, I will try my best to implement communication options if anyone wishes to contact me.

What to expect

There isn't truly a plan with this website yet, for I have yet to start properly heading down a given path in life, but you can expect a bit of the following:

  • Linux tips
  • Art posts
  • A bit of my thoughts
  • Development chronicles

If there is anything I want to achieve with this blog, it's to let someone in the world know they are not alone, and that they don't have to play by the rules that some may consider immutable if it clashes with their existence. Don't forget: we are strong together.

With that being said, I think it's time to finally start this blog for real! I hope you all enjoy reading the posts as much as I did designing this page for them! (^▽^)
