The part you should really read

Before you engage with this blog, here are some things you should keep in mind.

  1. Trans Rights are Human Rights, and the same goes for the rights of all marginalized people. If you don't agree with that, you may not wanna stay here long.
  2. This page is gonna be under constant change as I remember how to use CSS and start learning the true power of Eleventy, so expect change along the road!
  3. If the page is down or not updated, keep in mind this is a small scale project that is maintained in a basic basis, so it's possible a refactoring or bugfix will happen at some point.
  4. This blog will get into some deep thoughts down the line (at least possibly). If a post is in need of a trigger warning, we'll make sure to add it in the tags, and at the beginning of the post.
  5. As much as we wanna accomodate for everyone and will strive to do so, I have heard, and consider quite accurate, the argument that no point of view can truly be unbiased due to the existence of a status quo. As such, please be aware that my posts will reflect my thoughts quite a lot.
  6. Any given point of view is deserving of respect, as long as it does not invalidate or endanger the existence of a group of people based on their way of life.
  7. We are not perfect, because no entity can be perfect. We will always, however, seek to improve upon any faults we make to any entity or group of such due to ignorance or learned conduct.
  8. As the blog is developed, some thoughts might be a bit more... adults-oriented. We'll add a tag for those thoughts if need be.
  9. As a plural, neurodivergent, queer system, we need to make it very clear that we will touch upon points that may defy societal expectations or established concepts.

About this page

This page was made using Eleventy! It's a way to express a lot of thoughts, as well as practice and a proof of concept for more complicated projects later down the line.

About the Andromeda System!

Andromeda is the name we use in general, but we are actually a plural system that has a lot of thoughts and at least one integrant that has the capacity to put them on the internet. With a passion for Linux, we have set up this page to share our views on the world! So settle down for our character select screen...

CHOOSE YOUR ALTER!

  • Xenia (she/they): Yo, what's up? ;) Yes, I did name myself based on the transfem alternate Linux mascot, and nobody can stop meeeee! I'm the one who you can talk to about tech all day long, cause, to quote Veronica Explains, Linux is awesome, and so are you!
  • Madeline: I'm the more emotionally open one between us, and though I am not as smart as Xenia in terms of academics and computing, I do have some reflections I want to share with the world from time to time. NOTE: We're starting to think she became a part of the rest of us...
  • Miku (she/it): Ohayou! Our birthday is on the same date as Hatsune Miku, soooo I'm here now! I'm our chipper and music loving member of the system! Would love to sing, and will make the others voice train so I may do so someday!
  • Talia (she/her): So I used to be the cool one in the system.... now I'm mostly a cat. Turns out there are still a lot of things for us to discover behind the emotional walls!
  • Rosalina (she/her/nova): Greetings. I have more of a motherly role within our system, and though I have my own insecurities, I aim to be a comforting presence to those who may need it. May the stars guide your way. UPDATE: I have become a bit more laid back, but still loving and caring.
  • Orchid (she/they): So... I kinda fell out of front in 2019 and woke up in September of 2025? Used to be the deadname holder, one of the more focused members despite our ADHD. Kinda older sibling figure to Talia? Also, very happy to be here.
  • S-Rank (any): Though some would think I am just a Super Saiyan Talia, I am more like our internal guardian, not just for us, but for the ones we love. Will kick all of us into overdrive when things are bleak to figure out a solution.
  • Sakura (it/she): This one is a doll, and likes performing chores! This one does not really identify as a person, just to be clear. Though ADHD is hard to manage, it does it's best!
  • Breezie (she/her): Like Rosalina, I am technically a video game character, in this case, an Inkling from Splatoon! I come to this system to bring the fresh and celebrate life! I do miss Super Jumping though.

There are still a few of us that have not spoken yet, but all comes in due time! Stay tuned, and keep an open mind!
